All 32 teams started out in the Gold Bracket. 
The 16 teams that did not advance went into the Red Bracket for a separate tournament.  The 8 teams that lost their first two bouts went into the White Bracket for a separate tournament and the 8 teams that lost in the Gold Brackets (round of 16) moved into the Blue Bracket.
